University of Hawaii Manoa







The University of Hawaii, Manoa is located on the island of O'ahu, in the city of Honolulu. Honolulu is huge compared to anything we are used to, with just under a million people. The city has so much to offer. There are many historical museums and monuments, including Pearl Harbor. There are also plenty of beaches around that are warm enough all year long. Downtown, you will find some of the best shopping available and amazing food!

The University of Hawaii, Manoa is a great college. The campus consist of 320 acres and offers a 14:1 student-faculty ratio. There are around 20,000 people that attend UHM. The cost of attendance isn't that much. For non residents it is only around 20,000 a year for tuition and fees. They offer 92 different majors to choose from and 9 pre-professional programs. In sports they are called the Rainbow Warriors. They offer all the normal sports that we're used to, but they also have sailing, water polo, and swimming. Even though it's really far away, it is a great college with so many fun things to do and experience.
